What access do adults have to the child's savings account?
As joint owner on the savings, you can have the savings account added to your SMB Online and access it with your own SMB Online ID and password. You can transfer money, set up an automatic savings transfer, and manage account details - all from one login.
What should we bring to open a savings account?
Bring your child's social security number and your driver's license, and we'll get you set up in no time!
If your address is different from the one listed on your license, please bring proof of current address as well.
How many withdrawals are allowed per month?
Savings accounts have a limit of six withdrawals per month. This includes online transfers out of the account.
What happens to the Moola Moola savings when the child turns 14?
When a Moola Moola Kid turns 14, their account is converted into a Regular Savings account. The minimum balance and monthly service fee will not apply until their 19th birthday.
