SMBonline NetTeller Password Self-Reset

Southwest Missouri Bank provides you with the option to reset your SMBonline Internet banking password without bank assistance. To ensure the security of your online banking experience with SMB, we lock your account after three invalid attempts to log in with an incorrect password. We understand that the extra security we have in place with our passwords can sometimes cause you frustration when you forget your password and have to contact the bank to reset it. This benefit in SMBonline NetTeller gets you back up and banking faster and easier than ever before.

Should you forget your password or want to reset it, follow these steps:

Online
  1. Go to the login page for SMBonline NetTeller, enter your SMBonline ID, and click Submit.
  2. Click on the Reset Password link found below the SMBonline Password input field.
  3. Provide your SMBonline ID, e-mail address, and e-mail subject information. When you have completed the form, click Continue. (The email subject is for you to enter a phrase so you know the email is legitimate.)
  4. An e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address we have on file for you. The subject will be the same as what you just provided in the form and will contain a link back to a secure page on our SMBonline website.
  5. The secure page will ask you to enter your SMBonline ID and the answer to your password reset question. Enter the correct information and click Continue.
  6. You will then create a new SMBonline NetTeller password. After you've confirmed your new password, click Submit.
  7. You are now ready to log in using your new password.
SMB Mobile App
  1. Open the app and tap Forgot.
  2. Select how you would like to receive your security code – email or text – and tap Continue.
  3. Enter your phone number and a message subject and tap Continue.
  4. Enter the security code received and tap Submit.
  5. Answer your password reset question and tap Submit.
  6. You will then create a new SMBonline NetTeller password. After you've confirmed your new password, click Submit.
  7. You're now logged in with your new password.

Using this option will require that you have a valid email address on file with us and have already created a Password Reset Question and Answer. You would have been prompted to create your question and answer when signing up for NetTeller access. This information is managed within the Options tab inside SMBonline NetTeller.
