SMB Mobile Deposit

Deposit checks in a snap!  With the ease of taking a picture, securely deposit checks into your personal checking or savings account right from your smartphone or tablet.  All you need is our SMB Mobile app.  You choose when and where you deposit your checks – from your dorm, your kitchen counter, the school pick-up line, or even the parking lot at work before you leave on Friday afternoon!

Enroll yourself by selecting Deposits from the menu in your SMB Mobile app. We'll ask some basic information and then tap Continue. We will review your registration and send you an email to let you know you've been enrolled.*

Open up your SMB Mobile App

Sign in, tap your navigation menu and select Deposits.

Tap the Plus sign inside a circle

If this is your first time using Mobile Deposit, you'll need to complete the user registration and we'll send you an email when it's ready to use

Snap a picture of your check

Pick a well-lighted area, a dark background, align the check and we'll take the photo for you!

Flip and repeat

Make sure you've printed "Mobile Deposit Only" and endorsed the check before snapping a picture of the back.

Give us the details

Choose the "Deposit to" account and enter the check amount.

Review and finish

Review the check information, tap Finish. You will receive a confirmation email.

How does SMB's Mobile Deposit work?

Once you're in the SMB Mobile App, tap the navigation menu at the top left of your screen and choose Deposits. Tap the Plus sign inside a circle., take a picture of the front and back of your endorsed check, and enter the check amount. Verify all information is correct and click “Deposit.” You’ll receive email confirmation that the deposit was accepted. You may submit deposits at any time and can only include one check in a single deposit. 

You must properly endorse the back of the check with "Mobile Deposit Only" and your signature.

When will my funds be available to me?

Deposits submitted before 5 PM CST on a business banking day will generally be available by the next business day.

What should I do with my check after I’ve deposited it?

After you complete your transaction, keep your check for 60 calendar days to make sure it clears with no issue - then destroy it.
